paper sculptures

We often come across sculptures made of ceramic and wood but paper sculptures, that's something. They are not just any paper sculptures. The sculptures consists of layers of paper sheets and can be remodeled and expanded. These highly detailed sculptures by chinese artist, Li Hongbo,  first appear to be made of ceramic but actually are thousands of layers of soft paper. These structures when settled form the contours of an object - be it a skull, tree or a person. See it for yourself!
